Obituary of Antoine Lamar Goldsmith
Antoine Lamar Goldsmith was born on September 23, 1976 to Cheryl Gaynelle
Goldsmith-Blackmon and the late Raymond Allen Everett. Our heavenly father called him home
to his eternal paradise on March 29, 2023.
Bro. Goldsmith was preceded in death by his father Raymond Allen Everett; maternal
grandparents Catherine Eleanor Davis-Baker and Ernest Goldsmith; paternal grandparents
Sybil Nell Everett and William Everett; special aunt and uncle Erma Jean Norphard (Teda) and Jesse Lee Norphard; and Godmother Mona Goldsmith.
Antoine grew up in Milton, FL. He received his education at Milton High School, where he also dominated the football fields as #19 Varsity Quarterback. Later in life, he settled down in Harvey, LA with longtime girlfriend Dapege Doucet.
He was a devoted father and grandfather. A loving son, and a most cherished brother who exuberated love and loyalty throughout his life. He was affectionately known as “Fat Cat” to family and friends alike.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his mother Cheryl Gaynelle Goldsmith-Blackmon of Milton, FL. His two daughters, Ke’aira Alexus Goldsmith (Keke) of Milton, FL, and Porsha Lamara Goldsmith of Pace, FL. His only sister, Tiffany Brianna Blackmon (Tip) of Milton, FL. His three brothers, Cory Gerard Goldsmith of Milton, FL, Dwight Taron Blackmon (Ron) of Augusta, GA, and John Watson Jernigan of Milton, FL. His only granddaughter, Ke’lani Faith Goldsmith (Tootie) of Milton, FL, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, loved ones, and friends, including special guardian Mittie Waller of Milton, FL, and longtime girlfriend Dapege Doucet of Harvey, LA.
A service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Isaiah Chapel AME Zion Church, 5038 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Drive, Milton, Florida 32570 with visitation at 1:00 PM and service at 2:00 PM.
