Lue Pearl McCampbell, 71 , of Selma, Alabama passed away on Sunday January 5, 2025.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lue Pearl McCampbell, age 71, of Pensacola, FL, who peacefully departed this life on January 5, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Affectionately known as Pearl, she was born on October 22, 1953, in Selma, Alabama, to the late Eddie McCampbell, Sr. and Deloris McCampbell Barge.
Pearl was a beloved sister and aunt, leaving behind her brother Eddie James McCampbell, sisters Deamper Wiggins and Barbara Barge Young.
She was a guiding presence in the lives of her nephews Cornel Wiggins, Damon Wiggins, Dimitri Young, and niece ConTina Tribue (Bryan).
Additionally, she leaves behind four great nephews and eight great-nieces.
A lifelong resident of Pensacola, FL, Pearl was known for her candidness and unwavering devotion to her family.
Pearl was a graduate of Booker T. Washington Senior High School. She dedicated over 40 years to her work at Baptist Hospital,
where she built lasting friendships. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping and living life to the fullest.
Pearl's family was the heart of her existence. She and her sister Dee (also known as her twin) were inseparable,
and Pearl was like a second mother to her nephews and niece,
imparting values that shaped them into the individuals they are today.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 1: OO PM to 4:00 PM at Christian Family Funeral, located at 4020 N. Davis Hwy Pensacola, Florida 32503.
Funeral services will follow at Christian Family Funeral on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 1:30 PM, with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Pearl's memory.
