Obituary of Freddie louise grimes

Freddie Louise Grimes, 89, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021. A visitation willbe held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Muffley Funeral Home, 1430 Thornton Street, Clovis, New Mexico. A second visitation will be Friday, July 2, 2021 from 9:00 Am to 1:00 PM at First Church of God in Christ, 3400 Vinton Street, Clovis, New Mexico. A Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021, 2:00 PM, at First Church of God in Christ, 3400 Vinton Street, Clovis, New Mexico. Pastor Robert Grimes will be officiating. Geraal Rakee-Alee Sims, Matiga "Tigg" Bunton, Ebony Bunton, Zaishaun Senaj Brown, Jeremia Borwn and Zamarion Ja'mmie Marquese Brown will serve as pallbearers. Buria will follow the service at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Freddie was born on May 9, 1932 in Bryan, Texas to Frank and Zelma Collins. SHe married Lonnie Grimes, Sr. in Calvert Texas. She enjoyed gardening, taking care of grandchildren, reading and going to Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lonnie Grimes, Sr.; son, Robert Grimes and daughter, Zelma Moore. Survivors include 6 children, Lonnie Grimes, Jr. (Deborah), Gloria Bryant, Cleo Brown, Vivian Bunton, Larry Grimes (Eulonda) and Patricia Nance (Jonathan); step-sisters, Bertha Brooks, Margie Fisher and Pearl Cavitt; step-brothers, Fred Collins and Ben Collins; 21 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren and 7 great-great children. Arrangements have been entrust to Muffley Funeral Home in Clovis, New Mexico.
